By means of many media the news have spread around that the FIM have granted permission to have the Womans Worldcup in Motocross from 2008 being named the status of worldchampionship.

We thank it´s a godd thing for the ladiscup and they deserve it also very much. One may have noticed that outside the EU not many are participating in the events, but fact is that if you do not show up, you can not win!!

Uddevalla was of the initiators of the new formula and after three succefull years of organising the event, we are having to say goodbye to the lady’s with cetain regrets.

Reason for not participating in the WorldChampionships for ladys is the because in the BMK everything is ging in a democratic way, and as our three hundred vollunteers have voted during a meeting last year against the lot of work and extra pressure during the wekend, including three class for the WC in MX, we have called it a day for the ladys and hope that in the new set-up they will have a lot of succes
